   Belardeep minimizes all the difficulties derived from the troll fishing techniques with downrigger.

   Belardeep lowers the bait to the chosen depth, not just using the lead’s weight, which is what the traditional downrigger system consists of, but taking advantage of the sliding descent movement produced through the cable which holds the lead or depth glider. This down movement is a consequence of the resistance of the line which holds the bait and the angle of the cable from the downrigger to the lead or depth glider. This way, we manage to lower the clamps that hold the line with the bait, through sliding, with the cable searching for the lead or depth glider.  

   Belardeep allows the downrigger fishing technique with comfortable, significantly reducing, even up to two times per fishing day, the number of times we have to reel down and lift the lead or deep glider. When we start our fishing day, we let the lead or depth glider go off, and down to the chosen depth, and we pick it up once we end.

You will not have to raise the lead or glider depth each time you open the clip, for whatever reason, can review or change the bait without effort.
   There’s no physical effort involved for the fisher, since we are not forced to carry the lead or depth glider to the ship. On the other hand, we avoid knocks on the sides of the ship, when the device comes up to the surface.

    The reel down and lift to chosen depth levels of the clamp that holds the fishing line with the bait, is carried out easily, by means of the up/down rotating movement of its electric motor, carried out by means of the control’s button. This continued movement, allows changing the bait’s trajectory, which is ideal for attracting predator fishes.

  In case the equipment does not work due to technical failure, we can keep on fishing by using the downrigger system, which is completely independent from Belardeep.

   Once you have acquired experience, one of the most important features of the Belardeep is that which allows using two rods with the same downrigger (see operation with two rods section). Results are improved using two baits at a different depth level.

   Belardeep allows fishing with a downrigger at high speed, this being very difficult to achieve in traditional methods. If we use a lead ball, the ball raises to the surface when the speed of the vessel increases, subsequently widening the angle and loosing depth. On the contrary, if we use a suitable depth glider, we can reduce the cable’s angle. This circumstance will allow us to lower the bait even at high speeds (depending on the resistance strain which the equipment used allows). Thanks to its independence, the power and resistance of depth glider has no influence on the up and down movement of the pulley with the clamp and fishing line with the bait, thanks to its independence.
